CTSC Stadium Tour
Tuesday 10th May 2016
57 people attended a very enjoyable evening which started with a question and answer with Steve Gill and Mark Grattan.
Subjects covered were, player injuries, player welfare, salary cap, new signings, marquee player rule, club finances, A team rugby, duel registration, the Easter fixtures, the new ground, Wheldon Road ground, ground improvements and safety work, drinks license and pricing and Thursday night rugby.
The tour then took place with everyone splitting into 2 groups, areas visited were the VP lounge, players review area, coaches room, wrestling room, the gym, TV gantry, players tunnel, changing rooms and medical rooms.
We then returned to the VP lounge and thanked Steve, Mark and Stuart Vause for the tour, our last tour took place in June 2013 and we were very happy to see the clubs facilities in a lot better shape. A lot of hard work and investment has taken place since 2013 to make it a far better environment for all players and staff at the club.
It was also good to see our CTSC donations making a difference from the cold spa's, wrestling room, medical equipment, to equipment in the gym.
We made £74 on the night and also sold hospitality raffle tickets for the Warrington game, which we will announce the winner and money raised in July.
Lastly to everyone who attended thank you.
Next CTSC Event, Tuesday 14th June, WSTS Suite, Under 19s and Youth Development evening.
